Jahvon Quinerly is one of the most prized portal pickups of the off-season for Penny Hardaway and the Memphis Tigers this off-season.
His long-awaited arrival on campus is now within reach, as sources tell Bluff City Media that the Alabama transfer is expected in for practice on Monday, July 24th.
What This Means for Memphis
Now a few weeks into off-season practices, Quinerly’s arrival makes it nine players on the roster practicing with the team. The addition of Quinerly is especially important, as his capacity as a lead ball handler will be important for Memphis to get into their sets and get up and down the court.
Quinerly is also expected to be available for the Tigers when they make their foreign trip to the Dominican Republic in the coming weeks.
Alongside Quinerly, here is the updated list of Memphis players on campus and practicing with the team:
Caleb Mills
JJ Taylor
Carl Cherenfant
Ashton Hardaway
Jayden Hardaway
Nick Jourdain
Jonathan Pierre
Noah Stansbury (walk-on)
The Tiger Blueprint will continue to track the arrival of incoming transfers and recruits as the off-season continues, so stay tuned for updates here!
